Drive Drums

We offer a recovering service for worn drive pulleys for all Wirtgen planers. Over time the rubber lagging will wear, rip and peel off rendering the drum useless. Instead of scrapping it we can hot vulcanise a highly abrasion resistant rubber lagging for a fraction of the cost of a new drum. Periodic recovering will extend the life of the drum indefinitely.

The process of hot vulcanisation gives a much better lifespan than the cold bond techniques used on the OEM drums.

Tail Drums

Visually, our tail drums are identical to the OEM but weigh significantly more: this is due to the higher grade of steel we use. Our customers tell us they get much longer lifespan from our drums despite them being cheaper.
